The 2021 vintage of our stylish and very popular <CL° Red Blend heralds a new take on the blend. This new release is Merlot dominant, at 54%, followed by 39% Cabernet Sauvignon and rounded out with 7% Cabernet Franc..
A wine produce from a cooler vintage, the Merlot component was showing beautiful black-fruit characteristics. The wine has an inviting nose with an abundance of black plum, maraschino cherries, fennel and rosemary aromas. The first mouthful reveals flavours of vibrant dark chocolate, star anise and rhubarb.
Showing great balanced acidity, the palate is refreshing and invites you to have another sip, and another. Plushy tannins make this wine approachable and perfect for sharing, but complex enough to satisfy the most discerning wine drinker.
